HTML Headings

HTML includes six levels of headings, which are ranked according to importance.
These are <h1>, <h2>, <h3>, <h4>, <h5>, and <h6>.

The following code defines all of the headings:

<html>
<head>
<title>first page</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>This is heading 1</h1>
<h2>This is heading 2</h2>
<h3>This is heading 3</h3>
<h4>This is heading 4</h4>
<h5>This is heading 5</h5>
<h6>This is heading 6</h6>
</body>
</html>

NOTE!
it is not recommended that you use headings just to make the text big or bold, because search engines use headings to index the web page structure and content.

Horizontal Lines

To create a horizontal line, use the <hr /> tag.
